Joachim Herbert Cooder (born August 23, 1978 in Santa Monica, CA, United States) is an American drummer, percussionist, and keyboardist perhaps best known for his collaborations with his father, Ry Cooder, but he is also gaining prominence as a recording artist in his own right: in 2012 he released his solo début album, Love on a Real Train - and he has released two more solo albums since.
