The Jivin Scientists are truly taking the science of music and jiving it. With musicals roots ranging from Classic Rock, Funk, and Soul to the heavy beat-laden sounds of early Hip Hop, JS is making their presence known all over the Southwest, and even more so in the their present hometown of Tucson, Arizona. The Jivin Scientists consist of two brothers from New Mexico and an assortment of their talented friends, respectively. James Owens (aka Runt) is the man behind the microphone as the voice of the group.
