Jezebelle were a British all-female hard rock/metal band who existed for around five years in the late 1980s and early 1990s. During their brief heyday the band underwent a number of line-up changes and even changed their name twice. They adopted a non-glam, ballsy approach to music that recalled earlier punk sensibilities and which fitted in with the ethos of the contemporaneous riot grrrl movement in the USA.
