Early in 2003 James Glines slowly made his way onto the Salt Lake City music scene by way of open-mics and lightly attended bar shows. After a year or so of mediocre guitar and vocal emotional ballads, people started taking notice. Although his music was gaining speed, he still longed for something else. Always driven by the synth infused sound of bands such as Depeche Mode, The Faint, The Human League, and Ladytron, Glines decided it was time to take his sound in a different direction.
