British rock guitarist Jeff Beck (*1944) and american actor/musician Johnny Depp (*1963), who are described as "musical soulmates" on Beck's official website, released their first single, Isolation, on April 16th, 2020. Beck and Depp recorded their version of the John Lennon-song in a studio session in 2019 together with Vinnie Colaiuta on drums and Rhonda Smith on bass. The band first performed the track live at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival 2019.
