JAR was formed in 2007 when brothers John Thornburg (then 14 on Drums) and Russ Thornburg (then 10 on guitar) joined Alex Addams (then 15 on Bass and Vocals) to play the local teen centers on the “Eastside” of Seattle. After 2 demos, Addams left to focus on his education and Musical Theatre.
