J Versus K is an experimental-indie quartet from Arlington, Texas. Drawing from bands such as Minus the Bear, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, and Volta Do Mar, J Versus K retains a fast-paced, progressive, art rock sound. They use staccato guitar riffs, as well as quick guitar taps, plucked, and pulled notes, mixed with sophisticatedly timed stop-and-go percussion.
