J.O.B. is Josh O'Brien (b. 1988). He was born in Goose Bay, Newfoundland & Labrador—now living in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador. His focus is mainly within the hip-hop, r&b, and pop genres, mostly because of his preference to work with acapellas and instrumentals. Songs from other genres, such as "The Scientist" and "Sabotage" have been used thanks to rare findings on the internet, and also thanks to the video game "Rock Band", which contains near master recordings of songs in the game.
