It Is Dead is a blackened sludge metal band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They were formed at an unknown period of time. It Is Dead consists of three members, but the only known member is Kevin Pappas. His role in the band is unknown. So far, they only released the EP A Place of Darkness in 2021 and one full-length album entitled Hell is Now in 2022. Both were released digitally and independently. The CD of Hell is Now was released independently. The band then signed to Auris Apothecary in 2021.
