Impulso nace de la experiencia Cénit, banda que Manuel Latorre y Pedro Henestroza (en bajo) supieron tener a lo largo del 2015. Después de que la banda se separe, concretan con los miembros restantes, Gonzalo Éckert, Federico Julianello y Florencia Mantella y crean Impulso.
