Illustrious Louise utilizes sampled and programmed drum grooves, original synth lines, and female vocals to create its unique pop sound. Masterminded solely by Abby Rocker and composed and tracked in her home studio, IL is a project equally suited to live performance or the dance floor. Drawing on a variety of both old and new electronic artists as influences, Illustrious Louise represents an effort to create new music that is both exciting and familiar, winning over both electronica fans and those unfamiliar with the genre.
