Keyboard oriented band from Italy which doesn't really figure amongst the top notch bands from this country, although their '72 album YS is a classic symphonic piece. Their first "Sirio 2222", a rather average album of Hendrix-esque psychedelic rock may be of no interest to progressive fans yet their second, the widely regarded as superb "Ys" is a no miss. The moods vary between high energy rock, some jazz, and classical influences as well. Really good vocals, an Italian tradition, feature on this very complex and rich music.
