Founded in 2002 by fledging gold-era pioneers Doug Martin, Brian Carlson and Andy Schaff, I Was In Vancouver is a strong industry, pumping out solid, working-class Midwestern Alt/Indie rock on a consistent basis through some of the toughest times this country has faced in recent history. Absorbing smaller firms such as Norman and Larson Rhythmatics, IWIV has always managed to stay one step ahead of tragedies that bring smaller corporations to their knees.
