Hopie is a rapper from from San Francisco, currently based in the Bay Area. Born in Manila, she was raised in SF’s Sunset District and Daly City. At 11, Hopie started rapping and composing music as “Kae Hope.” In 2008, Hopie then teamed up with respected Vallejo producer, 6Fingers, and began making records. To date, Hopie has rapped with high caliber rappers, such as Del the Funky Homosapien and Bambu. Hopie cites Andre 3000, Del & B.I.G. as her main influences.
