Japan based electronica cooperative based on surviving members of Minx off-shoot Monks and in the face of Mongoose which never quite took off in the direction expected. Hooplah! display eclectic, disconcerting and wilfully obscure tendencies. A certain arbitrariness figures heavily in their work and resides at the centre of the cooperative's raison d'etre. Always on the verge, they are poised for more.
