The Hong Kong Blood Opera was formed in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora in the year 2006 as a result of former projects, such as the hardcore band "The Noise Cabaret" (2005-2006) and the experimental "... En La Orilla De La Utopia" (2003-2005), both bands integrated by most of the current members of HKBO.
