Here Lies the Hero are a post-hardcore band from Texas. They started with their current lineup in 2009 and have been developing their unique style ever since. In 09' vocalist Aaron Chaney approached guitarist/vocalist Jaxon Moore about starting a band. The two started writing together and soon recruited drummer Brandon Swilling (formerly of Outcry and Snowy Evans), guitarist Tyler Washington, and vocalist Andrew Bernal. Because of musical differences Andrew and Tyler left shortly thereafter but left the name Washington had given the band
