Guajiro (Pronounced "War Hero" in Gringo...), are a Hialeah Florida based rock band, comprised of exilios from Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Long Beach. Each member comes to the table with a dream of recreating the music they left behind in their former projects, such as Slapshot, Speak 714, and Friction Wheel. A combination of Classic Rock, '77 English punk, and 80's Latin Rock, Guajiro hopes to bring back the energy and soul that has been lost to major label executive influence and heavy handed pro-tool production.
