Ex-Blatz (Jesse Luscious and Anna Joy) and Operation Ivy (Matt Freeman) formed the Gr'ups in '91/'92 and released a couple of 7"s with the idea of "modernizing" old fairy tales as a rockabilly/punk combo-punch in the vein of X with a dirtier, more raw, and less sharp needle.
