Austin, TX based prog-rock/jam/funk/rock outfit. Groovin Ground has built a loyal following regionally. Started by twin brothers Evan and Dustin Bozarth along with Lionel Lucchesi, Kyle Clark, Clinton Piper and Dave Brown in 2000, Groovin Ground emerged from the ashes of a Grateful-Dead-covering house band at the now defunct THE PIER on Lake Austin, to develop an experimental and oddly original sound relying heavily on the improvisational and seat-of-the-pants ethos of most great jambands.
