2000’li yılların başlarında İstanbul’da farklı gruplarda yer alan dört müzisyenin bir araya gelmesiyle kurulan GREN, 2007 yılında RADARLIVE, MASSTIVAL ve ZEYTİNLİ ROCK FESTİVALİ, 2008’de yine MASSTIVAL, ZEYTİNLİ ROCK FESTİVALİ ve BARIŞAROCK’da henüz albüm çıkarmadan büyük ve önemli festival performansları sergiledi. Bu konserler ve internette yer alan içerikleri gruba çekirdek ve sadık bir dinleyici kitlesi yaratarak ilk albümle ilgili beklentileri arttırdı.
