Grass Stains was a band from Newtown, Connecticut influenced by various math rock, emo, punk and indie rock bands, and consisted of Ciara Connolly, Devon Covert, Dawson Goodrich, and Judge Russell. They formed in 2013 and disbanded in 2017. They originally formed as a three piece; Jimmy Buck on drums, Devon Covert on bass, and Dawson Goodrich on guitar. During the recording of their first record, "New England Will Kill Me", Judge Russell joined as a second guitarist & songwriter.
