In 2004, Dustin Sahene, Joe Vargo, Todd Hoellerman and Jamie Deuschle got together to form the band Grandsire. Although the band has since broken up, during their time together they were an impressive band, claiming 2nd by one vote at one battle of the bands and 1st at another.
