Throughout their evolution from grungy heavy pop to technological glam to full-on classic rock’n’roll, leader Bill Whitten’s trademark deadpan vocal delivery, uncommon songwriting sensibility, and willingness to experiment have remained the band’s consistent marks of distinction.
