In early 2003 Gramercy Riff was formed in Bakersfield, CA. They quickly turned out their first EP and simply named it Candid. In July of 2004 they released their first LP entitled Candide or Optimism. After touring for a year, Gramercy Riff returned home and released a second EP and named it Music To Shake Your Babies To.
