Mark DeNardo writes 8-bit punk songs under the band Graffiti Monsters, fusing ancient and modern mythology in the noise/folk/punk/blues idiom. With drummer Jeremy Wolfe Kivett, Game Boy Louis Shannon, and drummer Julian Bennett Holmes Graffiti Monsters has been making friends and playing shows in the New York punk circuit, the 8bitpeoples/collectives, and Brooklyn noise scene since 2008.
