Gnotes is a multi-instrumentalist producer and underground MC from Seattle, now based in Boston. His bohemian style of hip-hop features live instrumentation and politically-charged, globally-conscious lyrics. With roots in both the Pacific NorthWest grunge scene and New England's culture of academia, Gnotes' music is a combination of b-boy breaks, distorted electric guitars and dense, subtle rhymes.
