Girlcrush began as one small queer child singing about his crushes into a handheld tape recorder. In 2005, it became a collaborative effort between two friends. In 2008, it became a full band (minus one of the original collaborators, who was too busy for the project), and by 2009 Girlcrush was, once again, drummerless. After a 2 year hiatus and other creative endeavors, Girlcrush is back and queerer than ever. They like unicorns and pop-punk and are really into playing shows.
