Ghosts of the Land Concert History

Ghosts of the Land - (myspace.com/ghostsoftheland) - is an instrumental trio from Calgary. Started in October 2008 by Chris & Craig Chamberlain, with Evan Freeman joining in August of 2009. The aim of the group is to discover unique soundscapes using rock instruments. Shunning cliche chords, textbook beats and showy solos, the brothers cultivated organic synergy in their music. While 'post-rock' or 'post-punk' labels are tempting to apply to Ghosts, they prefer to describe their sound as 'instrumental ghost-rock.
