Geoglyphs, a Boston-based instrumental duo, writes and plays highly-rhythmic music exploring a broad spectrum of sound. Utilizing bass, drums, keys, bells, samples and other instruments, their songs often consist of multiple sonic layers, balancing abstraction and expression by combining tightly composed passages with bursts of free improvisation, noise and ambience.
