They were known for the lyrical content of their songs, which was often concerned with the band's homoerotic obsession over the actor Johnny Depp. For example on "Kill the Cool Kids," Leopard sings "Cos I want my Johnny bleeding, fuck him in the ass!" The vocals are most often delivered in a high-pitched scream reminiscent of bands such as Ed Gein & The Blood Brothers.
