Gargoyle Sox was formed in the industrial wasteland of Detroit. Formed out of the remains of the RUR's and other Detroit punk acts. Fronted by JP Koester, who now fronts The Trapdoor Spiders. Gargoyle Sox put out sludgy doom and gloom punk behind a throbbing drum machine. A part of the short lived Detroit Batcave scene along side Bill's Corpse, Danse Macabre, Shock Therapy, and Country Bob and the Bloodfarmers.
