Gabby Johnson was formed in DeSoto County, Mississippi--more specifically Horn Lake, Mississippi. The four guys all went to the same high school and through several coincidences of fate, all ended up playing music together one hot summer day in 1997. That first day was June 22, 1997. A phone call interrupted "practice". . .a friend heard about a new band and wanted them to play at his house Friday night. Well, if they weren't a band 5 minutes ago, they are now. Gabby Johnson.
