"You’re black & gay. How does it feel to have two things wrong with you?" That question (and statement) hit hard when it was directed at me two years ago. My journey to find inner strength began as a marathon sprint away from such a loaded, half-truth. In the end, I found some beauty in that flawed barbarity. That question-statement ceased to have power and its answer is now irrelevant.
