Fritz Helder & The Phantoms began from a love of dance. Having made original songs with choreographed dance routines lead singer, Fritz Helder, conceived a project which soon became a live dance act intended to enhance the experience of going out and letting loose. Future bassist, Fierce caught Fritz, Pastel and Diego's dance act and demanded to turn it into a full-on live music experience. Guitarist and missing point, Silk, completed the five-point star and the dance act finally become the electro-soul dance band, Fritz Helder & The Phantoms.
