Franke Previte and Knockouts guitarist Billy Elworthy wrote much of the material for their whiny MOR album debut, and they somehow managed to score three Top 40 hits within 15 months in an era where bad taste was an asset. After their debut, release spawned a top ten single with "Sweetheart", they released a second single "You're My Girl" which hit #27 and then a followup album was needed. Franke & the Knockouts second album was called Below the Belt and was recorded after being joined by new drummer and future Bon Jovi skin beater Tico Torres.
These are photos from concerts where Franke and the Knockouts played, so they may be of other bands that played the concert as well.
