Forest Tourist began as an collaboration between musicians Edward Burroughs and Marco Frey during the humid summer of 2011 in Charleston, South Carolina. This collaboration began with a mutual fascination with tape recording that eventually manifested itself into their dreamy debut self-titled EP, recorded in Marco’s bedroom.
