The trio Fonk’s Gang was born in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, Paulinho Fonseca (Jota Quest's drummer), Luo Campanelly (guitarist) and Jhoannes Cardoso (vocalist) started doing online collaborations. After that, they decided to create a whole project based on those pandemic sessions. Their sound is based on 80's and 90's soul, funk, disco and rock.
