Five's A Crowd were in fact British beat band The Hi-Fi's, who cut three singles for Pye Records in 1964-1965. As Five's A Crowd they recorded a single for Philips/Fontana in late 1965: 'I'm Not Ready For You Yet'. However, the proposed 7-inch was never released. They moved to Hamburg in 1966 and recorded an LP, Snakes and HifFis, plus two 45s for the Star_Club label, plus a Swanson single for Decca.
