Santa Cruz, CA emo-thrash quartet Fisticuffs Bluff was formed in the fall of 1993 by guitarist Drew Gilbert , bassist Dave Louie and drummer Jay Con-ui; with the addition of singer Summer Mastous the following January, the band recorded its first demo, soon issuing a split single with Angel Hair . Bassist Paul Costuros and drummer Yoshi Nakamoto replaced Louie and Con-Ui in early 1995, and after touring the country with Nuzzle, Fisticuffs Bluff re-entered...
