Formed as a solo project by Phil about a hundred years ago, Final Coil only really became a serious proposition in 2008 when a full-time band formed. Unfortunately the spirit of Spinal Tap hung over Final Coil and it took six drummers before we arrived at Tom and promptly chained him to something large and immovable to make sure he would never leave. We now keep him in a shed with a life- time supply of cheeseburgers and Journey CDs and he seems happy enough.
