Fernando Osorio Zumarán—Ferna—was born in Trujillo, Peru, and lives in the Washington metropoltan area since 1988 . He began writing songs in 1970, but became more involved in music by the year 2000. Since then, he has released two albums, "Varita Mágica" in 2005 and "Arrebol" in 2008.
