Faux Ox, formed in the fall of 2009, is a power trio, based in the Boston, Massachusetts area. The first Faux Ox gig took place in March 2010, after the creation of the Faux Ox demo CD. Since then, Faux Ox has played a variety of venues in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Worcester and Lowell, including Harper's Ferry, Middle East (Up), Church of Boston, TT The Bear's Place, Precinct, Ralph's and Radio.
