Fatman Scoop (born Isaac Freeman III, November 28, 1971 – August 31, 2024) was a hip-hop hype man, rapper, and radio personality. He is best known for the 1999 track "Be Faithful" with the Crooklyn Clan which became a number one hit single the UK, Ireland, and Germany. Throughout his career, he collaborated with a diverse range of artists including DJ Kool on the single "It Takes Scoop", Missy Eliott and Ciara on "Level Up", Tech N9ne on "No Popcorn", and many others. On August 30, 2024, he collapsed while performing and passed away the following day at the age of 53.
