Fatal Imbalance was born in the dying days of 2006 when Matt and Dave came in contact with Andy. The three did shows together and wrote about 7 songs before coming to terms with the need of a full time vocalist. So soon the three became 4 in 2007 when long time friend of Dave's was reunited at a show at Phil's Pub. Kyle joined the band and added onto the brutality. Fatal Imbalance has played and became friends with many local acts such as Fluxx, Sever the Masses, Tetnis Flesh, Idyl Exhibit, and Darkness Evolving just to name a few.
