FAST PIECE OF FURNITURE is from Toledo, Ohio. Singer/songwriter Tony Lowe had performed his songs with a variety of bands in and around Toledo for years. In 2003, Jeff Nelson relocated to Toledo from Washington D.C., where he had made a name as a drummer and record-label magnate. Impressed by Tony's music, Jeff came out of "retirement" and the two assembled a band to perform and record. The music gained the solid pulse it needed to complement Tony's out-style of rhythmic, angular guitar, and syncopated chords.
