Evil Emil & King Kongo Cobras was founded in 1997 in Arvika, Sweden. The music is based on traditional Zydeco with accordion, washboard, triangle, bass, guitar, electric guitar and drums as the most commonly used instruments. The lyrics are in english, as well as french and swedish.
