As teenagers, Bub and Erik had played music together on different projects. Years had passed and the music bug caught Bub again. He contacted his longtime friend, Erik and asked if he wanted to form a new band, focusing on up-tempo rock music with influences from the pop, punk, and alternative rock genres (the stuff that Bub grew up on). Erik, always interested in making music was on board immediately.
