Eschellon, a New Haven Ct based outfit, disbanded in 2004. Eschellon's music was widely, at least initially, experimental, indie, and jam band in nature.Some in the music press labeled Eschellon "the best band in Connecticut", and the "American Radiohead" by the dearest followers. Eschellon had been featured on XM radio's unsigned show, as well as played at notable music spots in New England, with Toads place in New Haven being at the forefront.
