Eric Reitz is from Reading, Pennsylvania, a smaller city outside of Philadelphia and just a few miles from Lancaster County: Amish country. He played piano as a younger boy but never really fell in love with the instrument's allure (although as he has grown older he has come to admire the beauty of the piano). While he took piano lessons in his younger years Eric always had a desire to play the guitar. The shape and fame the guitar had was an attractive force that hooked Eric from the moment he saw the instrument.
